International Day for Women and Girls in Science

On International Day for Women and Girls in Science, we celebrate the unstoppable

force of women driving groundbreaking discoveries! In #PROSPER, our talented women - from researchers advancing resilient orphan legumes to communicators championing agricultural sustainability - are leading the charge for diverse, climate-smart farming across Europe and they replied in three very simple questions:

1. What first sparked your interest in orphan legumes or sustainable agriculture, and how did that path lead you to PROSPER?

2. Which aspect of your work in PROSPER will most improve lives in your country – and why?

3. From your perspective as a woman scientist, what change would you most like to see in how women contribute to and are recognised in agricultural research and innovation?

Girls, dive into science with confidence: your ingenuity will shape a resilient future!
