PROSPER Partners Plan for the New Growing Season
Representatives from the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) and the Benaki Phytopathological Institute (BPI) visited the Smart Agro Hub (SAH) experimental unit to gain an on-site overview of the facilities and equipment used in field experiments.
During the visit, the teams explored proposed areas within the estate and experimental fields to identify the most suitable locations for establishing orphan legume crops under Work Package 2 (WP2) for the current growing season.
This collaborative field visit marks an important step in preparing for the implementation phase of PROSPER’s research activities. By combining expertise and practical insights, the partners aim to ensure optimal conditions for the successful cultivation and study of orphan legumes — key crops for building more resilient and sustainable agricultural systems across Europe.
